An identity for a restaurant and take-away in Shoreditch, London serving all things on the bone. A restaurant called Bones is a tricky proposition, at risk of suggesting the lean remnants rather than the meaty heart of the meal. So we took a light-hearted approach, bending a classic cartoon bone to create a satisfied smile, and designing a custom – boney – word mark to accompany it. From there it was a no-brainer (and yet eye- poppingly tricky!) to produce a bold repeat pattern which could feature on small and large applications.
